Can Stretch Marks Actually Be Removed?
Honest answer: stretch marks can be significantly faded — to the point of being cosmetically invisible in many cases — but rarely 100% removed. The treatments work by remodelling the collagen and elastin under the stretch mark, rebuilding the skin's structure from the inside. Realistic expectation is 60–80% improvement over a full series.
Newer stretch marks (red or purple, under 12 months old) respond better than older ones (white, silvery). If you've just had a stretch mark appear, starting treatment within the first year gives the best results.
